Diedra L. Cobaris

Executive Pastor of The Impact Church of Orlando

A native of Orlando, Florida, Diedra was born to the late Eddie Mack and Myra Mack on December 21st.  She is the sister of three brothers: Derryc, Torrence, and Ronald.  Diedra was born and reared in the Church of Christ and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of eight (8).  As a teenager, Diedra and her parents began visiting pentecostal churches and she later became a member of the Church of God in November of 1995.

Upon graduating from high school, Diedra went on to pursue higher education at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida.  In May of 2000, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from FAMU’s College of Arts & Sciences with a minor in Legal Studies.  Receiving a honors diploma (magna cum laude), Diedra was inducted into the FAMU Graduate Feeder Scholar Program.  Upon graduation, she returned to Orlando and began working as a legal assistant at a local law firm.  In September of 2007, she established herself as an entrepreneur by launching Printing to Perfection (formerly DMC Designs), a graphics design & printing company.  She also is presently employed as a Realtor®.

On June 8, 2002, Diedra joined her life with Bishop Kelvin L. Cobaris.  Diedra and Bishop Cobaris shared a brief pastorate at the Elm Street Church of God in Fernandina Beach, Florida before being appointed to serve in the Evangelism Department of the Church of God Executive Office in Cocoa, Florida.  Diedra served alongside her husband and was named as the State Women’s Ministry Evangelism Coordinator for the Florida-Cocoa Office of the Church of God (2002-2006).

In October of 2004, Diedra and her husband launched Empowerment Ministries Church, Inc., a church who Educated, Equipped and Empowered men and women for service in the Kingdom of God. Diedra and Bishop Cobaris serve together as Senior Pastors of the Empowerment Ministries Church, which experienced rapid growth as a result of their love and ministry to the community. In 2012, they returned to their home-church, "910", uniting the members of Empowerment with the members of "910" to positively impact the community and advance the Kingdom of God.  After a brief tenure of leadership, Bishop Cobaris and Diedra felt impressed of the Lord to leave the Church of God and launch a new ministry—The Impact Church.

Diedra and her husband are the proud parents of two miracles, Kelsey Leigh and Kyler Langston Cobaris. Not only is Diedra dedicated to her family, but also to the work of ministry.  She presently serves alongside her husband in Pastoral leadership.  God has gifted us with this dynamic Woman of God, who is in great demand as a conference speaker for women, youth, and entrepreneurial groups.
